I opened my wardrobe and saw my new pink polka dot top that i bought during easter..I cant help but feel a small sense of happiness and excitement..and ure probably thinking that this girl's a total freak for having jumble of emotions for a piece of clothing..hahaha..dnt worry,i can assure u that im perfectly sane..the truth is im trying to find things to get through my days,a mills and boon novel that I bought from Borders,mocha java chip frappuchino,the green-blue striped notebook(in which i scribble all my MATHS250 notes) and of cos,my pink polka dot top..Little joys that comes from the mentioned objects help me forget that im a thousand miles away from my family(mak,babah,boy,fiyyah,fiqah,adik);it's almost 4 months since I last carried my lil bro around the house and cooked mash potato for him ; ( ......helps me forget that i dnt have my partner in crime nearby;he's waaaaay in India...hanging out at starbucks is not as fun when he's not around; (....helps me forget that i cant eat Burgerking or KFC(the oh-So heavenly Zinger Maxx,Hot and SpicY chicken) and helps me forget that I have this huge responsibility of getting my honors degree in maths..even if I feel that the Math im learning right now is like a freakin foreign language..very different and very hard,GOD!..you see, my pink polka dot top is sorta like a booster that keeps me going every single day here in NZ..life's funny...ull never appreciate all the good things you have till they're gone..
