This post is NOT a movie review of the 1989's When Harry Met Sally starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan..it is about the fundamental idea that made this movie a unique chick flick: Can a guy and a girl be just friends?Will there always be the sexual tension that makes it impossible for this to happen?Here's what I think: It is definitely possible for a guy and a girl to be friends..In fact im totally for the idea..Having a guy best friend for me, means that you have this one person whom you can confide in almost everything without the pressure of hiding some parts of yourself..the fact that he's your bestfriend in the first place suggests that the he already know the real you i.e your habits,likes and flaws..The case however is totally different if you were to hang out with some other random guy friends..You'll get to hear the guys' point of view on thing i.e.fashion,books,tv,movies etc..and i know these things why?Cause I,myself have a guy bestfriend..we totally click with each other,we can make fun of each without worrying that one of us will get all sensitive about it,we give each other opinions when we're out shopping,suggests food and restaurants..we can even discuss the condition of our poop(i know,totally icky but we're that comfy with each other)..Knowing that he's there for me is something im totally grateful for everyday..I miss you boss
